My wife, Denise, and I live in San Diego and we happily work in the software field and help in the community through the Red Cross, Drug Free World and other social betterment projects.
Our two boys are grown and left the nest; one in Clearwater Florida and one in Portland, Oregon.
The software company is Exact Software from the Netherlands that bought a company I started, Micro-MRP, in 1982 in the San Francisco area doing PC-based software for production and inventory control. I ran the company for 9 years and “retired”. Denise and I started another company in New Hampshire and then sold it back to Exact. Now Denise works as their Sales Director and I am in independent consultant developing new products and working with Exact and my own clients.
I am still doing Ham Radio for the San Diego Disaster Council — call sign KJ6NSK — and had a chance to manage the Miracosta College Evacuation Shelter with 250 people for a week during the 2007 San Diego Fire Storm.
In case you don’t remember — here is the “old” me, the photo above is the “older” me!
